A gathering of future leaders of Malaysia, the EU-ASEAN Youth Diplomats Programme (EAYDP) is a chance to simulate leaders in government from EU and ASEAN Member States, and engage in multilateral dialogue on issues that affect us today. Celebrate the momentous milestone of 45 years of EU-ASEAN relations by looking to the future.

THE FUTURE OF EU-ASEAN IN YOUR HANDS.
Select participants will be trained on policy drafting, public speaking and research skills on foreign policy in three online sessions in January 2023.
The fully sponsored programme will then culminate with a three-day EU-ASEAN Youth Summit in Kuala Lumpur from 17 - 19 February 2023. A mock meeting between 27 EU and 10 ASEAN Member States, the youths will each represent a Member State and exchange views on present and future issues of shared concern for the regional blocs.

Individuals aged between 18 and 25 by the time of the EU-ASEAN Summit.
Also open to non-Malaysians enrolled in a Malaysian higher education institution.
Have a passion for change-making through foreign and regional affairs.
